While on his 3-day visit to the capital, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Aaron Abramovich, condemns in the strongest possible terms the atrocious attack against the Indian Embassy in Kabul (7th July 2008): “Israel condemns in the strongest terms the terrible act of terror against the Indian Embassy in Kabul, which caused so much loss of life to Indian diplomats and other innocent people. There can never be any justification for terrorism whatever its cause. As a country that has suffered so greatly at the hands of Islamic fundamentalist terror, Israel understands the need for concerted international action against those organizations which carry out such murderous acts and those countries which support them. We extend our deepest sympathy to the families of the victims and our wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded.” ******************************************************************************************************* Director General Abramovich meets with Indian FM in New Delhi 8 Jul 2008 Talks center on bilateral issues and a new agreement that would allow Israelis offenders in India to serve their sentences in an Israeli prison.
